Marlene posted an old family pic for #tbt. I've always thought Abby looked like my mom, but it was even more clear when they were side by side.

Parents Night Out

We had planned to try out indoor skydiving (iFly) with several other day care parents, but when we got the date of Parents Night Out, the place was already booked solid. So instead we all met up at Meso Maya. We finished the evening with a drink at the Keg.

The blurriness of this photo is a pretty accurate description of the evening for me.

New beds

Abby slept in her "big girl bed" last night. She did great!

Grant also got a new big bed (full size). We are converting the crib to a full size bed so this won't always be on the floor. Who knew you had to order a converter kit 5 months in advance? He moved into the big bed the day after Christmas, but I finally got a pic of him asleep in it.

Grantisms

Sometimes Grant starts talking nonsense/Chinese. So we tell him to talk like a big boy. Inevitably, the first word he says after that is "Caremark." (That's where Derek works)

Also earlier today we were watching Grant's new favorite show, Super Why. They showed T, E and L on the screen. Grant identified them as T, E, and "Ellow." Say your ABCs and you'll understand.
