Hot dates!

February was the month of dates for us. On the 8th, we went to a wedding without the babies.

Then on the 11th, we went to an event at Cowboys AT&T Stadium. The event was for lawyers all over the country. We were in the first group of the tour. When our locker room tours were done, we passed another group. Derek said he saw Ed Hochuli, so we decided to join their group. Sure enough - we snapped a shot with Ed Hochuli!

On the 12th, we celebrated Valentine's Day by going to dinner (again - without babies) at a Mexican food place we'd heard about in Grapevine. It's not new by any means, but it was new to us. Ummmmm wow. The brisket tacos will knock your socks off! Just as good as Mia's if you ask me and that's saying a lot. It's called Baja Grill. Go there. Hot sauce and 'ritas are good too, but skip the queso.

On Valentines, we went to Mattito's as a family of 4. The kids were pretty good!

The weather on the 15th was perfect. We had a morning trip to Costco, then packed up a picnic lunch and spent some time at the Duck Pond. In the evening, Derek and I went to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. We had a special invitation that included cocktails, appetizers, and dinner before the show.

We ended the month with a weekend getaway to San Antonio and Austin. The kiddos spent time with Mimi and Papa. We all made it home just before March decided to laugh at us and throw some ice in our face. I blame you, Punxsatawney Phil.
